Strongbox Seals Mega Airport Deal

The Hong Kong Construction-Leasing Company Wins Contract To Lease Construction Equipment For $4.15 Billion Airport Expansion

CENTRAL, Hong Kong - May 21, 2020 - PRLog -- Strongbox today announced that it won the contract to supply industrial equipment for the Korean Incheon Airport Expansion. Terminal 2 will be expanded and a new runway will be built. This marks the fourth expansion of Incheon International Airport, after which Incheon will be the third-largest airport in the world in number of passengers. The airport will also be the world's first to have two commercial airline terminals that each have a capacity of over 50 million passengers a year.

The new runway will increase the number of airlines operating per hour by 19%. The road connecting Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 will be shortened by 2.1 kilometers, shortening transit time for many of the more than 70 million passengers who use the airport annually.

Incheon Airport will invest $4.15 billion USD in the project. By participating in this project, Strongbox will help to create 60,000 local jobs in the Incheon and greater Seoul area.

Strongbox is the first choice of construction companies seeking to rent construction equipment in China, South Korea, and Japan. Strongbox supplies construction equipment for airports, urban rail, canals, and intercity railways among others.

72% of all construction equipment is rented, and Strongbox provides a complete range of construction machines which are essential to any construction project.
