Hydroponics Greenhouse Facility Expansion Feasibility Study Completed for USDA Loan

FREDERICK, Md. - May 21, 2020 - PRLog -- The planned expansion of the hydroponics greenhouse facility located in Franklin, Maryland from about 50,000 to 180,000 square feet growing lettuce was seeking a loan guarantee through a national lender from the USDA Business and Industry program.

The lender directly engaged Wert-Berater, Inc. to complete the required feasibility study because of their extensive experience in both agricultural and hydroponics projects and USDA programs.

Despite the recent  COVID 19 induced economic slowdown, it was found that demand for lettuce has stabilized and the level of pricing and demand warranted the expansion.  The company has been growing at the same location for about 12-months and experienced a 150 percent increase in revenue over the period.
