Follow on Google News | Shangri-La Springs reopens property, gift shop and organic farm-to-table restaurant Harvest & WisdomBy: Shangri-La Springs The property and the gift shop will be open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Harvest & Wisdom will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch. All employees will wear masks and a rigorous disinfecting routine as well as social distancing has been implemented on the premises. Only two shoppers at a time will be allowed in the gift shop, which features crystals and hand-crafted jewelry and soap. The 4-acre property, noted in Gulfshore Life magazine's 2020 Best of the Gulfshore as a Lee County Finalist for Best Historical site, has a dock along Oak Creek, 300 varieties of plants and champion Mysore fig trees, and guests are welcome to walk around and enjoy the lush surroundings as long as they observe social distancing. The restaurant, named 2020 Lee County Best Healthy/Organic Restaurant by Gulfshore Life magazine, has indoor and outdoor terrace seating and features ingredients just-picked from the property's organic, no-till garden and grass-fed, and pasture raised protein from nearby Circle C farm. Executive Chef David Robbins, who has more than 15 years of professional experience, including time with Chef Dan Barber at the acclaimed farm-to-table concept Blue Hill at Stone Barnes in Tarrytown, leads the restaurant.
