Music Therapy Brings Us Together: Online Music Sessions, Summer Camps, and Services for Frontline

FINDLAY, Ohio - May 14, 2020 - PRLog -- Heartstring Melodies, LLC is providing a variety of remote music options for people in NW Ohio including music therapy sessions, personalized music playlists, online music summer camps, and complimentary services for our Frontline workers.

With any of our remote music therapy options, our board-certified music therapists can help:
·Provide meaningful music experiences
·Help everyone to maintain a calm, healing environment
·Assist with stress reduction
·Provide a means for social interaction and emotional support
·Give resources to use now, and well into the future, even after restrictions are lifted

Music Therapy Sessions: We are offering music therapy sessions and adapted lessons. Our music therapists will lead singing, movement, instrument playing, song writing, and discussion.

Music & Family/Friend Sessions: Our music therapists will meet with you and your family or friends to sing, move, laugh, reminisce, and connect in a meaningful way over the distance. We will collect the songs we share in a personalized playlist so you can continue using these songs for individualized music activities.

Individualized Playlist Sessions: This offering allows the music therapist to work with you to create a personalized music listening playlist. Our music therapists will conduct an interview via video conferencing, sing or play recordings of songs, and build a playlist for you to use to aid in bringing you through these times.

Musical Moment Sessions: We are offering recorded music therapy sessions that incorporate singing, movement, instrument playing, and listening to music. The sessions have a variety of themes and target audiences.

Music Summer Camps: With a different theme each week, our summer camps run three days per week from the beginning of June through August 21^st. Our summer camps are open to individuals of all ages and abilities!  Some of our themes include: Music by the Campfire, Princes and Princesses, Music Technology, Songwriting and Recording, Christmas in July, and Performance Camp.

Music Therapy for the Frontline: Complimentary services are provided to Frontline workers to engage in music therapy sessions to address needs such as a personalized playlist, guided relaxation, songwriting and lyric discussion for emotional expression, and musical connection with family and friends.
