ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - May 13, 2020 - PRLog -- In this time, creativity is beginning to flourish. Author and illustrator Mo Willems has committed to hosting a popular daily Lunch Doodle. The Cincinnati Zoo offers a livestream of one animal exhibit per day in its Home Safari Facebook Live. The Shedd Aquarium let the penguins loose to rave digital reviews.

We are ready to join this swell of creative goodwill. The Center for Functional Learning has launched The Grace Note Club. Membership will include exclusive newsletters on health, literacy, and music education for emerging readers. In addition, members will receive deep discounts and "book bundle" deals, collector set pins, coloring books, posters, and the opportunity to help name a new character who will join Grace's world.

Furthermore, as a launch special, we are offering one year of membership free with any website purchase of one or more of Grace's books by or before midnight on April 15, 2020. Books start at just $15. Browse our library and shop here.

Grace's home learning

Like millions of children across the country and the world, Grace and her friends have faced radical changes to their learning, too. Here is how they are meeting the challenge:
  • Having a schedule for e-learning activities to keep up with school assignments.
  • Listening to new styles and kinds of music on YouTube and play together on Hangouts and FaceTime when they can.
  • Writing letters to friends and family to practice literacy skills and stay in touch.
  • Having made lists of subjects and ideas they would like to learn more about during this uncertain time.

What are you and your family doing? Do you have questions about the Grace Note Club? Please reach out!
