SHOREDITCH, U.K. - May 12, 2020 - PRLog -- Conscious House London, the 100% natural skincare and toiletries brand striving for zero waste and plastic free alternatives, today announced the launch of its new line of eco-friendly cloth face masks. The face masks are a sustainable, hand-sewn alternative to most of the protective masks on the market, and are made in 100% organic cotton. This launch is a second step to Conscious House London's #MasksForMadagascar appeal, giving extra support to SEED Madagascar during the Covid-19 global pandemic. The fundraising campaign with SEED Madagascar, announced in April 2020, aims at providing cloth masks for key workers and vulnerable people in Madagascar, and is currently hosted on the Conscious House London website.

Conscious House London, the waste-free lifestyle brand founded by Nicolle Barreiros and Rebecca Dallimore, is a long-time advocate of sustainable and natural living, with a growing collection of lifestyle products made with all natural ingredients. The new face masks are made by the brand in accordance with official medical guidelines, and out of certified organic, biodegradable cotton. The Conscious House cloth face masks also showcase limited edition prints by small business artists to support independent designers, starting with the Toucan, the Blue Tile, the Polka Pink and the Meadow Flowers patterns.

The Conscious House London cotton cloth face masks are double-layered and soft to the touch, with a design made from organic cotton fabric offcuts that otherwise would have gone to waste, so only a limited number are available.

Each mask purchased donates a mask to the #MasksforMadagascar campaign run by Conscious House London's partner SEED Madagascar. The new line of cloth masks is not a profiteering opportunity for the brand, but a social and sustainable initiative in line with Conscious House London's ethos. The price of each mask (£4.50) covers the material cost (£1.91), labour cost (£1.59) and a donation of a mask to Madagascar.

"As COVID-19 makes its brutal way across the world, even countries with the most sophisticated healthcare systems and resilient populations are suffering" says Rebecca Dallimore, co-founder of Conscious House London. "When a disease like coronavirus makes its way to the African continent, disaster truly strikes, impacting millions of people who often do not have access to basic sanitation facilities for washing their hands, nevermind healthcare services".
