Lack of Leadership is Holding Canadian Organizations Back

EDMONTON, Alberta - May 28, 2020 - PRLog -- Today, Psychometrics Canada, a leader in pre-employment and talent measurement, released their 2020 People Trends report.  The report, based on responses from over 300 organizations discusses the critical people issues being faced today. The top three issues identified by HR professionals as critically important were: leadership development, employee engagement and employee development.  The largest problem was found in leadership. How leaders are chosen, their development process, and the ways they communicate with their employees.

One of the report authors, Psychometrics' Lead Psychologist, Shawn Bakker said, "the lack of investment in first time leaders is a huge gap that leaves behind a wake of issues as those individuals progress through the organization and their career."
