IMPACT Melanoma Dives Into Virtual Melanoma Awareness Month

By: IMPACT Melanoma

CONCORD, Mass. - May 7, 2020 - PRLog -- May = Melanoma Awareness Month; a nationally recognized time to spread awareness about skin cancer and ways you can help remedy the effects of harmful UV radiation from the sun, tanning beds, etc. National non-profit organization, IMPACT Melanoma, has been faced with a twist on their monthly initiatives this year, taking it to the digital screen vs. their usual in-person educational gatherings. Thus, here in 2020, they rally the collective troops to put their already magnified awareness initiatives under the microscope and bolster outreach with a suite of virtual events (which are graciously sponsored by Arbella Insurance!)

Here's what IMPACT has in store:

Every week, the organization will go live on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/IMPACTMelanoma/) with a specialist that will help attendees stay healthy, educated, and engaged during these difficult times. Their unique Live events will offer guidance on skin safety, education, parenting, business services, and more. Those who attend will have the chance to win a sunscreen dispenser for their community.
