Extra-Ordinary Leadership by PM Modi & stable Govt. will bring prosperity, growth and happiness

GREATER NOIDA, India - May 7, 2020 - PRLog -- Indian Institute of Finance hosted the 20th IIF Webinar series on "Essence of Life and Growth" by Dr Aarti Grover, School of Planning and Architecture SPA, (Deemed to be University), INDIA and Advisor, Central Zoo Authority, Government of India, INDIA. The Webinar was moderated by Prof. Aman Agarwal, Professor of Finance & Dean (IR) Indian Institute of Finance and Executive Editor, Finance India.

Dr. Grover outlined life is a beautiful experience of the creation of God. She underlined the importance of balancing rush with the forgotten essentials of life: relations, relaxation and rejuvenation. Grabbing opportunities and making a correct decision timely is very important for growth. Physical growth is bound to happen but we have to grow mentally and spiritually also, at the same pace. Our duty as individuals is to be in present and keep doing what is expected of us.

Dr. Grover believes that India is going through a tough time but the presence of a stable and strong political condition in the centre with an extraordinary leadership at the top is a great positive for us. According to her, inclusive and sustainable growth coupled with economic growth is the way forward. She acknowledged disruptions at urban, health, economic and personal spheres but she was hopeful that the nation will soon bounce back as a heathy economy. She believes that in the contemporary situation, it is important to learn from the crisis and invest in capacity building and innovative technology. She outlined Adaptive management as the success mantra for India. Governments can create a positive environment by facilitating an ideal setting, infrastructure and the right kind of policy and framework. Empowering of Urban local bodies should be given importance.

Advising the youth, she said that Intelligence Quotient, through best use of technology and Emotional Quotient, driven by the traditional Indian ways of life and wisdom together will need to be enhanced to derive the required results. She suggested youth to rediscover themselves, stretch their limits and think like a true Indian. She listed three important qualities for youth – Trust on self and traditional Indian knowledge, self-reliance in terms of start-ups and control brain drain and give back to the Nation and people. She spoke about the importance of quality of education in the country and pointed out the key areas of concern like having a long-term strategy of employability skills, research and development and use of innovative technology. Dr. Grover appreciated the efforts being placed by Indian Institute o Finance (IIF) to induce positivity in times of uncertainty and uplift the mental and moral state of Indians and others attending the IIF Webinars from the globe is an important and constructive initiative.
