The world's first certified palm oil free pomade

The brand celebrates the Windsor end of Chapel street Melbourne, a melting pot of all that is great about Melbourne, in one of the most diverse and cosmopolitan cities. After trying natural pomades which didn't perform well, and looking closely at ingredients in most pomades, harsh chemicals such as petrolatum and nasty preservatives, we wondered why pomades can't be natural? So, we formulated our own product that consciously includes premium natural ingredients that are vegan and palm oil free. All combined into a nourishing pomade that performs. When starting out, friends were not aware what's actually in many pomades, they were shocked at the toxic, nasty and synthetic ingredients hidden in ingredient listings. Melbourne made, and proudly the world's first certified palm oil free pomade, The Windsor End Clay Pomade is formulated with natural waxes, clays and oils that nourish hair and style all day. All decisions across the business have sustainability in mind, from the choice of ingredients and their impact on the supplier, person and planet. Aluminium packaging was chosen as it's the most recycled material by consumers and local councils. We still have a long way to go with our sustainability efforts and we're actively improving.

The Windsor End has also successfully gained certifications from PETA, Vegan Australia and the Orangutan Alliance. "It was important to us to avoid animal derived ingredients when there are other premium ingredients to choose from. With Palm Oil, we wanted to avoid sustainable palm oil, our research showed that sustainable palm may not be as sustainable as the claims. It was a challenge avoid palm oil derived ingredient, but ironically meant our formulation could only include premium natural ingredients. We've developed a formulation that achieves our objectives and performs, something we are quite proud of". The Windsor End aims to lead and grow the clean pomade category for peolpe who care about their immediate and wider world. We will raise awareness of the toxic and synthetic ingredients in many products, such as petrolatum, parabens, SLS, mineral oils and nasty preservatives.
