Follow on Google News | Teen-led Nonprofit Enables Members to Give Back to Students&Teachers Amidst the COVID-19 OutbreakA Venue to Allow Students to Continue their Education through Free Online Curriculum
By: Interns 4 Good "There are not enough hours in the day to give my students the help they need, especially those who need extra support," asserts Ms. Jacobsen, a fifth grade teacher. "Traditional lesson plans are just not effective online." Interns 4-Good is attempting to solve this problem through engaging online curriculums for elementary and middle schoolers, many of which can be taught live by their members. A wide range of curriculums are available, from teaching students basic French to introducing children to the stock market. Lessons are still being added and users can even request a curriculum on the Interns 4-Good website. "As a student, I have seen the difficulty in online learning," explains Ellie Zimmerman, the CEO of Interns 4-Good. "With the support of our highly qualified high school volunteers, Interns 4-Good has made learning easy, productive and fun. We have the tools to help lower and middle schoolers learn and succeed." Comprehensive and effective, these online curriculums allow students nationwide to learn remotely. With material covered both inside and outside the classroom, students can continue their schooling while exploring new educational topics of interest. Curriculums are engaging and varied, allowing students to continue learning amidst the coronavirus lockdown. Interns 4-Good is a student-led nonprofit organization based in New York City, New York. Interns 4-Good connects high school students with remote, skill-based, internship opportunities at nonprofit organizations that allow them to develop their professional skills while also giving back to worthy causes. The organization is run by ambitious leaders from all across the United States.
