ANN ARBOR, Mich. - May 4, 2020 - PRLog -- The NSA recently made public a major security flaw in Windows 10.

This is an unusual move for the NSA, but the flaw was deemed important enough. The agency is also moving towards more transparency.

The flaw enabled hackers to gain access to systems through a loophole in Microsoft's CryptoAPI.

Some 900 million systems running Windows 10 are potentially affected.

Network Services Group founder Don Prior had this to say:

"The recent CryptoAPI flaw is certainly the most recent, high-profile case of cyber-security loopholes being exploited, but it certainly won't be the last. Sadly, many organizations and people's information may have been compromised unnecessarily, as a simple system update could have avoided this vulnerability."
