"Funnyction" a new genre has born with a new Young Adult Saga: John Snowman

SEATTLE - April 30, 2020 - PRLog -- A new literary genre has born. At least it's what the publishers of the book: "The Incredible Adventures of John Snowman: Supreme Negotiator of the Galaxies" claim after its release, and they have called "Funnyction".

"Funnyction" is an acronym of "Funny Fiction", a genre that combines fiction adventures and humor, in these moments where mankind needs more than ever reasons to laugh, and forget the terrible pandemic that forces people to stay confined in their homes.

The book was published last December exclusively by Amazon Kindle, and it tells the story of a teen student who is late to school and tells his teachers an incredible story about the cause of his delay.

The plot of the book combines Science Fiction and humor, and promises to deliver a lot of laughs to readers. It is directed to Young Adult readers, since it deals with some raw humor and sex issues.

According to the publishers, the new literary genre denomination was necessary because there was no way to categorize the unique style of the book, so they had to invent a new genre for it. The book style combines parodies and jokes with Science Fiction, so it couldn't be categorized in only one.

Most of test readers claim that the main character of the book: John Snowman, has a unique sense of humor before the situations he has to face, and that makes him one of the more likable characters they have ever read, in combination of his incredible imagination.

The book has been published in English and Spanish, by author: Alfonso Linares, and it's expected to be translated in other languages.
