Aligned Wellness+ Open During COVID-19 Lockdown

GLENDORA, Calif. - April 23, 2020 - PRLog -- Doctor of Chiropractic Gina Travis is keeping the doors to her health clinic, Aligned Wellness+ in Glendora, open in the Coronavirus pandemic. Since chiropractic care is deemed essential by the LA Department of Health, she and her staff are taking steps to make sure everyone who visits the Glendora wellness center remains healthy. Relying on guidance from the Center for Disease Control and the California Chiropractic Association, the office has adopted policies designed to guard the safety of patients, staff, doctors and other visitors to the office:

Safe Distancing

1.     To accommodate "safe distancing" guidelines, we are limiting the number of patients and staff members in our lobby, as well as in patient rooms and hallways.

2.     We are also staggering appointments to minimize the number of patients in the office at any given time.

3.     To prevent people from waiting in the lobby, we are asking patients to check-in and then wait in their vehicles until we call them via their cellphones.

Face Masks

1.     We require all visitors to wear face masks. What's more, we wear them ourselves out of an abundance of caution.

2.     Dr. Gina has partnered with local seamstresses who can provide masks to meet newfound demand.

Sanitization

1.     We are fortunate to have moved into a new office on March 17, 2020. So, the facility is clean. What's more, we were known for maintaining a very sterile environment even before the Coronavirus outbreak.

2.     We have stepped up sanitation efforts, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant between every appointment.

3.     We are using hospital-grade Viracidal wipes for our equipment, doors etc.

4.     We provide soap and water for handwashing.
