ARJUNA Therapeutics Named as one of the Winning Startups in Position to Defeat Brain Tumors

BETHESDA, Md. - April 23, 2020 - PRLog -- The Center for Advancing Innovation (CAI) announces that ARJUNA Therapeutics is one of the winners of the Brain Race, an open innovation contest to advance high-impact inventions and solutions to defeat brain tumors.

CAI orchestrated the Brain Race with support from Resonance Philanthropies -- a donor-advised fund of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation -- and The Brain Tumour Charity.

Dr Ross Breckenridge, CEO of ARJUNA Therapeutics, said: "We are delighted to be named one of the winning companies of the Brain Race. The ARJUNA team is focused on advancing our TMC pipeline into the clinic to address untreatable cancers. This award validates our unique technology platform. We have demonstrated, with our preclinical studies, that TMCs are able to get across the blood brain barrier and we deliver our medicine to brain cancer cells within five minutes of treatment. The Brain Race hosted 124 teams, from which the 15 winners were selected, by a multi-disciplinary panel of judges, comprised of 60+ industry experts and potential investors.  The Brain Tumour Charity is a UK-based, Charity Commission registered, charity dedicated to funding research, raising awareness of brain tumours, reducing diagnosis times and providing support and information for people with a brain tumors, their families and friends.
