ST AUGUSTINE, Fla. - April 15, 2020 - PRLog -- Stephanie Kinsey, DDS, owner and founder of Palencia Dental (http://www.palenciadental.com/) has completed core programs and advanced education focusing on the diagnose and treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMD) cases and mandibular positioning skills, using science and computer technology to relax the jaw muscles and determine the direction of a patient's oral bite and movement. During the course, Dr. Kinsey also studied proactive, advanced bite correction techniques in the practice of oral medicine.

TMD diagnosis and treatment is one of Dr. Kinsey's most prevalent competencies to help patients suffering with jaw pain and tooth loss. Dr. Kinsey completed the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, (LVI Global) continuing education (CE) credit course online in early April.

Additionally, Dr. Kinsey completed an advanced training course in March on periodontal care, treatments and diseases utilizing ultra-performance laser technology. The course offered by Fotona medical lasers and The Laser & Health Academy was a virtual study course covering physics, operative and soft tissue procedures. The study platform supports Dr. Kinsey's belief in continuous education and practical instruction. Laser and low-level light therapy treats mouth and gum ulcerations and inflammatory conditions structures surrounding and supporting the teeth.

In December, Dr. Kinsey will complete LVI Global's Practical Advanced TMD Continuum. The course is designed for qualified participants to become superior experts in the field of Physiologic Dentistry which is a whole body and its systems approach to dentistry, treatments of TMD, TMJ, migraines, and headaches along with general dentistry in treating teeth, bones and joints.

"During this time of COVID 19 medical practice restrictions and an emphasis on essential treatments and procedures, we are seeing patients in need of a doctor's care due to acute and chronic pain, oral health issues, sleep and breathing disorders, and non-elective procedures, among others," said Dr. Kinsey.

Dr. Kinsey is an American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) Qualified Dentist and has been practicing dentistry for more than 20 years.
