NEW YORK - April 10, 2020 - PRLog -- Gray Panthers/NYC in partnership with the Florence Belsky Charitable Foundation ("FLOBEL") has announced that it has launched an online resource page for Seniors in response to the COVID-19 crisis in New York and nationally. As part of the commitment to confronting ageism, the resource page will consist of services, information links and referrals from advocates for Seniors and leaders in the older adult service fields. The site, seniorresourcesnyccovid19.org, will be user-friendly for Seniors, caregivers and families with shared social media platforms disseminating updates on topics such as living better, anxiety, culture, scams and government information. It will be updated on a weekly basis to provide practical advice to help seniors and those who love them thrive during the current crisis

"Gray Panthers is honored to help provide some solace to New York City seniors during this crisis.  We want to ensure that they live and thrive while at home.  We look forward to serving the seniors of NYC with the widest distribution during these very challenging times. We hope that you'll be able to help us reach the million plus seniors in NYC," stated Jack Kupferman, President of the Gray Panthers/NYC.

Dan Schneider, Executive Director of FLOBEL, says: 'We are pleased to be working in partnership with advisor Jack Kupferman, Esq and the Gray Panthers/NYC and hope to be able to replicate the unique Resource Page they helped create for NYC in other cities around the US and world, using our global network and in partnership with other NGO's. This crisis is a wake-up call that we are all connected and we need to work together to solve Climate Change, Ageism, Racism and Inequality, the existential issues which face our planet.
