Amour Genesis Extends Community Curbside Care Packages

CHICAGO - April 6, 2020 - PRLog -- Genesis Emery, founder of Amour Genesis, a Chicago-based brand empowering social community for women who want to pursue their career passions while balancing and embracing their journey through Mommy-hood, announced today that she will be extending her Curbside Community Care Packages one more week to serve underserved neighborhoods of Chicago on April 6th-11th to give out care essentials for those in need during the COVID-19 crisis.

"I am overwhelmed with joy with the amount of support I've received from the first Curbside Community Care Packages, " says Genesis Emery. "People are donating money, sanitation products and are even offering food services, and for that, I want to extend it another week."

April 6th through April 11th, Curbside Community Care Packages will be filled with events and partnerships plus essentials for children just in time for Easter. See below for details:

Monday, April 6th

Curbside Care Packages for the Homeless - Downtown

Partnered with Chef Tiffany Jones

• Woodlawn (63rd & St. Lawrence)
• 18th Street (under the 90/94 expressway entrance and 18th street above the bridge)
• Canal Street and Lower Wacker

Genesis and Chef Tiffany Jones will be donating 100 care packages including  sandwiches, bags of chips, and bottles of water to the homeless.

Tuesday, April 7th

Wednesday, April 8th

"Self-Care Covid-19 Care Packages for Single Moms"

• Chatham
• Auburn Gresham

Genesis will donate 50 care packages to single women (which includes body wash, bath salt, mint and/or detox tea, a heathy bar, a bottle of water, etc.)

Friday, April 10th

Chicago Kids Day

Worksheets donated from The Little Dapper Collection & The Little Dapper Project, Bubbles, Flash Cards, Crayons, Coloring Books, Fruit Snacks, and Juice Boxes

Saturday, April 11th

Senior Day

Genesis, along with volunteers, will be making direct deliveries to senior citizens throughout Chicago's south and west sides. They are targeting all underserved senior residents and delivering 100 care packages spread out throughout Chicago's senior community
