Follow on Google News | Icelandic man "held" at Airport for days without food and waterAn Icelandic man has been involuntarily barred from leaving the UK at Heathrow airport for days in what he describes as feeling like a hostage.
By: The nordical Only weeks after he survived the horrific Andes hantavirus which can not be found in Europe unless imported or manufactured and that left him crippled for 2 weeks after whistleblowing in Iceland and getting threats he recovered quickly and said he would not let these things stop him from living a good life in Denmark, his current home. He says he has been stuck in the Airport for 4 days now on what was supposed to be only a day at most and no currency exchanges are open and Kristinn Spence claims he was so dehydrated after not having any water for 2 days that he felt dizzy and was afraid he would faint from thirst and hunger before he managed to get additional funds to his card that he just had spent over a 1000$ for tickets with Lufthansa that never even worked. Kristinn also said he talked to Lufthansa today on March 06 April and they said they would issue a ticket for him but never delivered the new ticket. The harsh conditions at the airport are somewhat similar to being in prison except there are no beds or blankets for the people sleeping there involuntarily. Kristinn says that the Lufthansa airline did let other people through that were not Danish nationals without any problem whatsoever which would be extremely biased on why the airline would discriminate between nationalities or people.
