Dr. Joe Dispenza Review - Do You Believe Him?
Dr. Joe Dispenza Claims That We Can Cure Chronic Disease But...
He was featured in the movie "What the bleep do we know" and promotes the ability of the mind to heal the body.
If you are familiar with his "origin story" he healed his body from a complex spine fracture with the power of his thoughts.
There are many critics of his work. I recently read one review that said: "I tried his methods (centered around meditation) for 3 weeks and it didn't work."
One of the most compelling arguments he makes is in his book: "You Are The Placebo".
Placebo: a harmless pill, medicine, or procedure prescribed more for the psychological benefit to the patient than for any physiological effect.
In other words, the placebo is inert and does not have medication. This means that the patients who are cured using a placebo essentially do so through the properties of their body/mind.
Many of the cases where patients received results from the placebos took months to achieve the results.
His book gives a brief history of the placebo, tracing accounts of related scientific discoveries from the 1770s through the modern-day, as neuroscientists solve exciting mysteries about the intricacies of how the mind works.
It goes on to explain how thoughts change your brain and your body. And asks the question "If your environment changes and you then signal new genes in new ways, is it possible to signal the new gene ahead of the changing of the actual environment?"
The body/mind has extraordinary capabilities when focus, intent, and concentration are used.
