For the contest, parents simply upload their child's photo onto the LMNA contest site. The public then votes on their favorite candidate.
Tiarah, who lives in the Washington, DC area, received the most votes and won the title of Little Miss North America 2020. She will be crowned officially by her 2019 predecessor, Bettis Bierenbaum at their upcoming big sisters pageant, Miss DC for America and Mrs. DC America Pageant. The pageant will be held on June 6, 2020 at the Kennedy Center. She will also receive cash and prizes worth over $800 to include a virtual workout from celebrity trainer, Stacy Adams.
Tiarah was born in Washington, DC. to Tara Walker and Thomas Williams. She attends middle school in the District of Columbia where she is an Honor Roll student. Tiarah is a dancer on a competitive dance team and she is a toy reviewer. She has been seen on ABC "Let's Talk Live" News as a toy expert. In her spare time, she enjoys making jewelry, creating slime and solving math problems. Tiarah plans to become a lawyer in the future and she also has her eyes set on being Miss America one day.
"As Little Miss North America. Tiarah, can build on her personal and public speaking, meet other young girls with similar aspirations and continue to be a voice within her generation. Our team is excited to see her journey," states Maria Raquel Thomas, LMNA Junior Director.
