Lori Jean Finnila ISSA USA Female Single Of The Year Nominee 2020

PORTLAND, Ore. - April 2, 2020 - PRLog -- Even with all the struggles this woman has had her music always come first. Her music is always the most important thing to her because it keeps her alive - literally. With life threatening head injuries to her mind and body from abuse she survives with the beats of music stimulating her brain. Just one more note to how music is so great!

Oregonian Lori Jean Finnila has survived and thrived in Oregon to this point of nomination to the International Singer-Songwriters Association USA Female Single of the Year 2020 Award for a song titled "Dying Burning Body" that expresses her pain when she doesn't even know it appears in the dark, and blank to the fog in her brain, to her dying burning body. She wants others to know how it feels after you've been abused, even if it's been so many years.

The lyricist and vocalist has been performing since 2011' where she started her journey after the worst of her injuries at Lane Community College Music and Theater Department. She ventured on to Southern New Hampshire University online where she learned to make lyrics flow phonetically, melodically, and sweetly, with a punch of sass from her personality in her creative writing degree program.
