SAN FRANCISCO - March 30, 2020 - PRLog -- HoloBuilder, Inc., the leading solution provider for 360° reality capture of construction projects, is proud to announce a technological development collaboration with Takenaka Corporation, one of the largest architecture, engineering, and construction firms in Japan.

HoloBuilder is excited to deepen the existing partnership with Takenaka Corporation ("Takenaka") as a member of the HoloBuilder Innovators Club, which is an exclusive community of many of the most innovative construction companies from around the world who collaborate with HoloBuilder to co-develop new technologies and drive innovation forward and create a better future for our industry.

As Innovators Club Member, Takenaka will actively collaborate with HoloBuilder on co-developments that will be built with particular attention to Japanese construction site conditions. With the goal to improve construction process efficiencies, the collaboration will be focused on developing AI image recognition workflows, autonomous documentation of construction sites using robotics, as well as Building Information Modeling (BIM) integration workflows.

Takenaka seeks to accelerate technological development through ongoing collaboration with start-up enterprises which are helping to address challenges in society and in the construction industry. Takenaka has been actively searching for innovative solutions all around the world and has chosen HoloBuilder to be among the few top companies of a pool of over 400 companies that Takenaka has analyzed.

For Takenaka, HoloBuilder is an ideal 360° photo documentation solution that facilitates efficient communication by clarifying site conditions through annotations that record the state of a capturing point and its surroundings and also sharing this information with remotely located project stakeholders. In addition, regular taking of 360° photos with HoloBuilder provides valuable construction records to Takenaka for maintenance and operation of buildings. Takenaka and HoloBuilder have been working together in earlier stages of their partnership since March 2018.

"Having worked closely with Takenaka Corporation on several innovative co-developments and early adopter programs as well as having experienced Takanaka's innovative mindset and willingness to collaborate with construction technology companies like us to drive innovation and the whole industry forward, we are very excited to be deepening our relationship with their outstanding teams. I am confident that many valuable developments, particularly for the Japanese market, will come out of this great partnership," says Mostafa Akbari-Hochberg, President and Co-Founder of HoloBuilder, Inc.
