Scrooger is a completely independent comparison platform and information service. It's a place where you can find the best deals and learn how to save and earn more money.

Unlike most of the other comparison pages, Scrooger is showing all possible choices, not just the ones with the highest commission. In fact, right now 90% of the financial products presented on the website are commission-free.

It's a completely self-funded, self-created and independent platform. The beginnings of the idea behind Scrooger was to create a transparent and easy-to-use system, where you can learn how to earn and save money and easily compare available financial products.

We have spent a couple of weeks studying all UK banks offers, reading the fine print and finding all available bank accounts. We've created the algorithm, which fairly scores all offers, taking into account over 20 factors like fees, interest, overdraft, accessibility, atm withdrawals, extras, etc.

All scores are based on the algorithm and always will be. Transparency for the customer is the key to success here.

We've started with the personal current accounts (including these for students, children and premium users), but will be adding more types of financial products in the future.
