Old School Rock and inflatable dolls. The debut album by The GigaHertz is out now!
After several months in the studio with producer Max Titi, the band is releasing their first album (out on March 27, 2020) entitled "Queen of blow", on the Maxy Sound label.
By: Maxy Sound
The 10 tracks included in the album range from fairly heavy hard rock in songs like "Rock will be your drug", "Wake up Stand Up" and "Smiters and Fighters" to tracks of more peaceful rock & roll, where the powerful riffs by guitarists Marka and Grolli leave room for piano and hammond solos by keyboard player "Tecchio".
More heavy metal sound in the song "Queen of Blow" which talks about how certain girls "sell themselves" too easily. In the album there's no lack of ballads: examples are "A Shotgun Blast" a song about the disaster of wars, "Rock and Love Night" and "I wanna See You Born Again " which is a declaration of love for the old good rock (that the band would like to come back and dominate the music charts). The impeccable grooves, led by the rhythmic section that sees "Feder" on drums and "Ferro" on bass, the rock band, formed in 2015 in a Italian high school, shows a good self-confidence due to the many gigs that have forged their artistic and technical maturity, despite the young age of all members.
The idea and the main message of the album consists of some inflatable dolls that the band always carries with them and which have become their main trademark.
Those dolls represent the decay of values that is increasingly reducing relations between people to "plastic" interactions, in which individuals act like robots and are ruled by their smartphones, rather than by feelings, instincts, passions and values that were mostly dominant in the rock era. At the time a smile was enough to fall in love and a good riff was all you needed to have you dance on a table.
The protest of The Gigahertz and their message is just this: "Let's go back to getting doped with Rock, to be excited and drunk with life and people, to fall in love with a distorted guitar and a groove that makes stomp our feet; in short, let's throw the phone away and finally look at each other: we are humans, we are rock & roll!"
The "Queen of Blow" album will be available from March 27 in all digital outlets and soon in CD format during the band's concerts.
