Planetshakers' Youth Band planetboom Releases "Jesus Is The Key"

Written by planetboom youth pastor, songwriter, author and drummer Andy Harrison, produced by creative director Josh Ham and mixed by worship leader Joth Hunt, "Jesus Is The Key" features vocalist Noah Walker leading this plaintive, hopeful prayer declaring the rescuing work of Jesus amidst the crisis the world is facing.

Writing and recording the song, as well as filming a "Jesus Is The Key" video all in one day, Harrison shares what led to the new song:  "Over the last few weeks, both in the events of my own life and in those happening around the world, I have felt the Holy Spirit stir me to simply put all of my focus on Jesus. To zoom-in on Him until He's all I see, to fill every conversation and every thought with Him. He is our foundation, the glue holding our lives together and the key to every single thing we face."

Capturing the heart behind the song, Walker is filmed in the deserted streets of Melbourne, Australia, which are normally packed with people. With the camera filming Walker from behind him as he walked in solitude along the streets, Harrison says, "It's less about a person, and more about Jesus, and our reaching out to God who is the Key, and who is close."

With public gatherings and church services closed in Australia, as in much of the world, planetboom and Planetshakers Church is bringing a message of hope for such a time as this online.
