PHOENIX - March 26, 2020 - PRLog -- LionHeart Security Services (LHSS), (http://www.lhssinternational.com/index.html) the leader in security services, is again paving the road for security firm advancement in Arizona.  During this National Covid19 Pandemic, LHSS Owner Michael Morrison takes firm action in supporting the Security industry:

·       LHSS is in conversations with the Department of Public Safety (DPS) to extend guard cards during this crisis. This would help limit the spread of COVID19 by eliminating the traditional in-person process.  Since security firms are inundated with temporary work due to company closures and empty properties, it is critical that the industry has qualified and available employees.

·       LHSS has been approved to conduct DPS Certified Guard Card training classes online. This is a precautionary measure to limit the potential exposure to Covid-19 while following the national direction for social distancing. Although guard training online is not typical, LHSS's proven track record in course safety measures has afforded them the temporary authority.

In other recent news, LionHeart Security was the leading force behind the House Bill 2096. HB2096 focuses on improving Security Guard licensing regulations for recently discharged veterans. HB2096 allows a security guard company to sponsor a veteran to hold a temporary guard card.   By having a security guard company as a sponsor, the veteran can only work for that one specific company with the temporary card.  With these changes, a veteran could essentially work immediately.
