ERA Wilder Realty, Inc. Hosting Medical Supply Drop-off Points
By: ERA Wilder Realty, Inc.
The U.S. is experiencing a critical shortage of Personal Protective Equipment, such as: N95 masks, surgical masks and gloves, that are used by healthcare workers to protect them from contracting and spreading airborne illnesses, like COVID-19. "When Charlestonians, Karen Byko and Renee Harvey, asked us if we would be willing to support their efforts to ensure our healthcare heroes on the front line get the supplies they need to stay safe, we of course said yes," Said Eddie Wilder, President of ERA Wilder Realty, Inc.
Currently, outdoor donation boxes are set up at all three (3) ERA Wilder Realty locations in Charleston – James Island, Mt. Pleasant and Summerville – for donors to drop off their items without the need for staff interface. Volunteers will periodically pick up and deliver supplies to MUSC. Karen Byko and Renee Harvey are working to expand the medical supply collections efforts to benefit hospitals in other parts of the state. At that time, ERA Wilder Realty will host drop-off points at their other seven (7) locations.
