PediaClinic Introduces HouseCalls for Sick Kids in South Metro Denver

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. - March 25, 2020 - PRLog -- PediaClinic is proud to announce the initiation of PediaClinic HouseCalls. In order to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus, PediaClinic providers will come to the home to evaluate sick children in the Highlands Ranch and Littleton area.

PediaClinic has been providing high quality affordable pediatric care to South Metro families since the opening of its first retail location in Highlands Ranch last April. Twenty-five pediatricians and practitioners from 7 pediatric practices in metro Denver heard the concerns of parents about the high cost of pediatric after-hours care. They came together to create a more affordable network of convenient care clinics for kids.

PediaClinic will provide visits by appointment in the home or in the clinic during its current office hours from 5 to 9 pm M-F and 1 to 9 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.  Initially, housecalls will be made within Highlands Ranch and much of Littleton, with plans to expand to other locales as the need arises. Families who live outside of Highlands Ranch can still make an appointment online to be seen in the clinic.

Dr. Dan Feiten, a pediatrician at Greenwood Pediatrics, understands the anxiety parents are feeling during this unprecedented time. "As a pediatrician for 30 years, I know that this time can be nerve-wracking for parents. If they get sick, who will take care of their kids? With PediaClinic HouseCalls, we will be able to minimize the risk of bringing your child into the clinic."

PediaClinic will continue to monitor recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, World Health Organization, and local hospitals as this pandemic evolves. As always, primary care providers will receive the visit summary by the following morning and sick kids will be referred back to their doctor for follow up.
