Woman-owned Company Launches 'AffirMAILtions' Service To Foster Connection In The Midst Of Social Distancing

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - March 24, 2020 - PRLog -- Founder Shannon Cohen [Shannon Cohen, Inc] is repurposing her Tough Skin, Soft Heart line of greeting cards to launch a custom service that enables clients to celebrate, connect with, and extend support to those they care about without violating shelter-in-place protocol. "Words heal," says Cohen.  "Words allow us to touch the heart and soul of others.  The realities of COVID-19 make physical distance necessary, but we can still nurture social connection and interpersonal touch through greeting cards."

The "AffirMAILtions" service alleviates the physical labor of care and connection and costs less than a cup of coffee.  The custom service is $6 and includes the cost of the greeting card, a specially curated message to the card recipient, and the cost of shipping.  Cohen likens the service as TeleHealth for the soul. "We transport the care and concern you feel in your heart on your behalf," says Cohen.
