Annual RAINBOW BALL for the Metropolitan Community Church of the Palm Beaches has been postponed

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - March 23, 2020 - PRLog -- (Palm Beach Gardens, FL – March 23, 2020) Rev. Marie Alford-Harkey,  Senior Pastor of the Metropolitan Community Church of the Palm Beaches (MCCPB), the largest faith-based community in Palm Beach County dedicated to serving the local LGBTQ+ community and its family members and friends, today announced the postponement of the upcoming Rainbow Ball 2020 due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

"MCCPB takes very seriously the CDC's mandate on social distancing, so we are postponing the church's largest annual fundraiser until this fall," says Rev. Marie. "We hope to announce a new date soon."

Co-chaired by Chris & Robert Ruff and under the banner of "Respect – Dignity – Equality… for all," this year's Rainbow Ball was scheduled to be held on April 18 at the Airport Hilton in West Palm Beach.
