Black-Owned Comic Book Signs Exclusive Deal

ORLANDO, Fla. - March 23, 2020 - PRLog -- The Manga comic book, Macchiato! was recently picked up by Black Sands Entertainment (BSE). Hotep Anthony, storyteller, and Roland Broussard, colorist, created the story of aliens forced to flee their homeland after an attempt to overthrow a corrupt government.

BSE is a black-owned publishing company that started with its own comic book series, Kids 2 Kings, a motivational comic book with African-American characters. The company has received multiple awards, including a Hollywood Just4Shortz film festival award. "It's dope anime, traditional manga. High energy," said Manuel Godoy. "It's something we're going to be pushing hard because it has a family friendly feel to it."

Macchiato! reached fame from their Kickstarter page, which reached its goal and brought in a total of $4,322.

The comic book is inspired by Japanese animation and follows the manga-style for adults and children. The comic tells the story of a corrupt alien government with plans to invade Earth and enslave the human race.

To prevent the destruction of Earth and enslavement of the human race, five humans have been recruited to save the world.
