Oklahoma Cannabis Expo POSTPONED due to COVID-19

OKLAHOMA CITY - March 22, 2020 - PRLog -- The conference organizers of the Oklahoma Cannabis Expo (OCE) don't want to let down our community of cannabis professionals and patients in the state: we know that community building, patient care, and job creation is top of mind, but first things first: we cannot ignore the sober warnings of the CDC on limiting the gathering of people until we, as a country, get a handle on this global pandemic. As a result, have postponed the OCE past the 'all clear' date from the CDC to August 15, 16, 17 and 18, 2020. This date is tentative and fluid until we know more on how the virus will impact our communities, patients and legislation that permits or denies gatherings of people.

We are handling this transition transparently and wish to communicate to the supporters, attendees, companies, sponsors, and attendees of the OCE that the show WILL go on: we are going to keep all the awesome momentum, positive energy and forward movement intact. Because we are a movement, a community builder, and a job creator in the great state of Oklahoma, it is our duty to do what is best for this tremendous state and its people, and that means postponing the OCE until August 15 - 18, 2020.

SHORT ANSWER:
OCE is responsibly postponing due to CDC prescribed action — and has done so with an abundance of caution for the attendees, industry, and citizens of Oklahoma.
• Team OCE is announcing a new event date of August 15, 16, 17 and 18, 2020 at the same venue locations as previously announced. These dates are past the CDC 'all clear' date of July 1, 2020.
• Team OCE is committed to safe and responsible gatherings, as well as to represent the best cannabis companies in the state. In order to flourish as an industry in Oklahoma, we must first gather safely and take care of each other. By postponing the OCE, we hope to further trust with our community and build a bigger, healthier and better conference when we are on the other side of COVID19
