How Do You Avoid the Monsters Within the Water After the Coronavirus Pandemic is Over?

DALLAS - March 23, 2020 - PRLog -- The coronavirus pandemic has caused the worse panic this century, affecting hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. While there is little we can do besides quarantine, hand washing, and sanitation on dry land to stay safe, it's a different story for the recreational water we use for swimming and playing every year. Even after the coronavirus is over, there will be creatures in our recreational water that are dangerous to the public. However, a system does exist to keep us safe.

Many people have discovered the consequences of not drinking purified water, but what about the water that enters your body through your eyes, ears, nose, and mouth from recreational water? According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), recreational water can be contaminated with microorganisms waiting for a host. In 2013, the CDC found E. coli in 58 percent of samples taken from pools. Other contaminants in public pools, lakes, rivers, and oceans include other bacteria, parasites, viruses, and fungi.

There have been news reports over the years of people getting brain-eating amoebas from swimming in contaminated water. Recreational water illnesses (RWIs) run prevalent throughout society according to the World Health Organization's (WHO) report on Recreational Water and Disease. Many unexplained illnesses can be attributed to RWIs.

Though regular swimming pools are currently the safest body of water, there are still many dangers. Chlorine does not kill all contaminants, and the ones it does kill may take a while, as discovered by the CDC. In addition, the high levels of chlorine in pools may cause illnesses if they are inhaled for long periods. According to the CDC, chlorine can be a dangerous toxic gas when a person is exposed to large quantities repeatedly. Most people have experienced some of its effects in pools: red, burning and blurry eyes. Did you know that high levels of chlorine can also cause skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and chronic conditions in lungs, intestinal difficulties, and cancer?

So, how do people have fun in the water and still be protected? The answer is Tahiti's Breeze. It uses an effective pool filtration system with safe additives that kill microorganisms and 24/7 monitoring. According to Tahiti's Breeze founder, Lynn Bryant, "Tahiti's Breeze will use the most important technological innovation for recreational water known to mankind."
