Wanderful Launches Travel Industry Virtual Meetings Day

BOSTON - March 17, 2020 - PRLog -- Wanderful, the creator of the Women in Travel Summit, is launching the Travel Industry Virtual Meetings Day to continue facilitating business connections between travel content creators and brands. The first of its kind, the Virtual Meetings Day will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, from 3 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

"The long-term effects of COVID-19 on the travel industry are only just beginning. With so many industry events canceled, our ability to make meaningful business connections with each other has been severely disrupted," said Beth Santos, CEO and Founder of Wanderful. "This event aims to help travel brands and creators curb that disruption so we can be ready to work together when we start to travel again."

The Virtual Meetings Day is an opportunity for seasoned content creators and brands to meet, build powerful relationships, and discuss collaboration opportunities – all online. It is a full-day virtual networking event, meaning participants can be anywhere in the world while connecting and networking with others both locally and across the globe.

Both accepted media and sponsoring brands will be invited to an online platform that will be used to pre-schedule appointments. Sponsoring brands will then join virtual "meeting rooms" on the day of the event. Media will "move" around these virtual meeting rooms for each of their set appointment times.

Qualified media including writers, bloggers, journalists, influencers, photographers, and freelancers are invited to apply by May 4, 2020. Those selected will be given free access to begin scheduling appointments.

Wanderful is also inviting travel brands and related industries who want to work with or leverage creators in the travel space to get involved. Payment plans are available.
