Court Of Appeal Settles The Case Of Portland Cement After Looking Into Evidences And Facts

LUSAKA, Zambia - March 17, 2020 - PRLog -- Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani's patience, honest & transparent nature finally paid off. After more than a decade including numerous court proceedings as well as two different courts, Dr. Mahtani with his significant evidences, facts and testimonials was able to convince the Court of Appeal judge about the reality of the Portland Cement Zambia. This reality was kept hidden from the media and common people for a long time. The case was registered at the Lusaka High Court and for more than a decade, case proceedings were conducted and despite sharing almost all details, the final decision from the Lusaka High Court judge shocked everyone. According to justice Nkonde from the Lusaka High Court, Ventriglias were announced as majority shareholder of the Portland Cement Zambia.
After this, Dr. Mahtani rightly approached the Court of Appeal. It is interesting to note here that Dr. Rajan Mahtani shared the same evidences, testimonials and other details to the Lusaka High Court only to get such a controversial judgement. The judge from the Court of Appeal was justice Mwinde who gave a quick decision in nine months. Before giving the final decision, the judge confirmed that in the year 2005, Dr. Rajan Mahtani officially paid 1 billion kwachas to the Portland Cement Zambia in exchange for 58 percent Portland Cement Zambia shares. These details were further found in the page 663 of the original shareholders agreement established in the year 2007.
With these details, justice Mwinde from the Court of Appeal gave the final decision that Dr. Rajan Mahtani is the only owner and majority shareholder of the Portland Cement Zambia.
