Short Story Named One of 2019's Most Popular Fiction Stories by "The Saturday Evening Post"

A resident of Tifton, GA, Reddick holds degrees from Valdosta State University, the University of West Virginia, and Florida State University. Reddick is the author of the short story collection Road Kill and Other Oddities, and of the Jan-Carol Publishing book, Lead Me Home. Published in2010, Lead Me Home follows the story of Max Peacock after a pragmatic, surreal, and spiritual Southern journey back to his roots shows him that one can come back home.

Reddick was also a finalist for an Eppie Award in fiction. Reddick also authored Drifting Too Far From the Shore, which has been nominated for several literary awards. In 2019 Reddick had various short stories featured in an array of publications. His short story, "Cool, Damp Cloth," was originally published with The Saturday Evening Post, and in December 2019, the publication listed "Cool, Damp Cloth" as seventh on their list of "The Most Popular New Fiction of 2019."

In addition to the success garnered by "Cool, Damp Cloth," Reddick's "Drunk" has also received acclaim and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize by Brilliant Flash Fiction.
