ANN ARBOR, Mich. - March 16, 2020 - PRLog -- COVID19 is causing businesses across Michigan and the US to make changes to their services and hours of operation.

Many are even closing entirely, following Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer's order that all bars and restaurants transition to delivery and pick-up only, as of March 16.

Managing their online presence has already been important to many local businesses, but in light of current events, is becoming even more so.

Due to the rapidly evolving nature of the situation, it is key for businesses to communicate any changes to their customers.

Michigan SEO Group is an online marketing firm in SE Michigan. Founder Nick Suino says: "It's up to local business to take on leadership roles in times of uncertainty like this. Sticking your head in the sand is not going to cut it. We've been using Google My Business as a platform for years and we anticipate it playing a key role in the days and weeks to come."

Google has stated that changes may undergo review and may not be posted immediately.

Google encourages all businesses to share information about extra precautions, delays, or extra services.
