In 5 simple steps, your business can survive the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, and continue to prosper. Be armed with facts and be flexible. CheapTVSpots.com offers suggestions to stay healthy and safe in your business.

LOS ANGELES - March 10, 2020 - PRLog -- It's been said that the Trump administration's first response to the impending pandemic was to click their heels together three times.  Who knows if that's true, but what is absolutely true is the American economy depends on small and medium-sized enterprises, which do most of their business face-to-face.

The usual, in-person business has taken a hit recently, as the threat of a new, highly communicable disease affects businesses everywhere.

Is there a vaccine?  Not yet, for COVID-19 (nor for any misplaced priorities of the current administration), but here's a shot in the arm for your business.  Stay prepared and healthy with these simple suggestions:

First:  Doctors advise getting a regular "quadrivalent" flu shot.  This will reduce the burden on emergency rooms and medical personnel from seasonal flu, and allows better care for the critically ill.

Second:  Wash hands frequently and refrain from touching your face.  Washing with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds works best.

Third:  Limit contact with others in public places.  Keep a distance of at least six feet, wherever possible.  Elbow-bump a greeting, instead.  Hold meetings via phone or teleconference, not in person.

Fourth:  Instruct employees to stay home from work if they experience flu-like symptoms.  Consider temporarily flexing company rules on sick days to encourage employees to stay home from work while ill.

Fifth:  Regularly wipe surfaces with disinfectant or alcohol.  Wipe door handles, keyboards, and countertops.  Encourage all employees to do the same.

With these and other healthy steps, let's get back to business.  But what can you do?  Come to terms with our new reality.  Then take action.

1.  Think about workarounds to the person-to-person encounters that have kept your business in the black.  Take orders over the phone or via a web-based form.  Is there a way to deliver products?

2.  Make the experience fun for the customer and employees, in spite of the seriousness of this situation.

3.  Of course, advertise these new services - TV and online video can be a great way to get the word out to your customers, and it can be very affordable.
