How to Change the Keyboard Language on Computer

How to change keyboard language in Windows. If you need to type in a foreign language on your computer.

HALF MOON BAY, Calif. - March 8, 2020 - PRLog -- Let's explain how to change the keyboard language on your computer. This way, if you have purchased a foreign keyboard for transcription or just want to try writing in another language with the one you have, you can adjust it to your needs. The bulk of the article will be to do it in Windows 10, but we'll also tell you how to do it on macOS.

However, before making changes you must know that it is not the same English from the United Kingdom and the United States, and it is not the same to put the language of the keyboard in Spanish of some Latin American countries as Spanish from Spain. This is because ANSI distribution is used in America and Europe the ISO, and there are differences in how the keys are located.

Change the keyboard language in Windows

To choose the keyboard language in Windows, you have to tap on the ESP icon (if you have it in Spanish) that is down to the right, next to the clock in the lower bar. If you don't have it in Spanish, you'll see another language acronym.

A small window will open in which all the languages you have configured will appear, and where you simply have to tap on the language you want to have your keyboard automatically configured with that layout.

If you don't have more languages set up or just want to add others to the list that appears to you, what you have to do here is click on the Language Preferences option to go to the menu in which you add the languages you want.

There, in the Preferred Languages section, you can add new ones to the list so you can write to them whenever you want. If you have an ISO distribution you can adapt it to Latin Spanish, with ANSI keyboards you can put the Spanish if you have stickers or clarify, and if you want, you can also put the language to which the keyboard belongs to type what you put in the key you press.

Change the keyboard language on macOS

On macOS, the procedure is pretty much the same. Above you have the option to change the language, which as you see in this screenshot, is currently in ISO Spanish. This means that you are ready for a Latin American keyboard.

To add new distributions, you can open the display preferences and enter the Input Sources section.
