Victoria Weaver promoted to St. Petersburg Free Clinic program director

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - March 5, 2020 - PRLog -- St. Petersburg Free Clinic has promoted Victoria Weaver to Director of its Men's Residence. Weaver now oversees the Free Clinic's residential program that assists men in regaining skills necessary to become self-sufficient and live independently.

Weaver guides case managers, staff and volunteers in providing a compassionate, respectful, supportive, and safe environment at the Men's Residence. Her team works with each of the 28 men in the program to develop individual plans to achieve their goals and develop the skills necessary to reach and maintain self-sufficiency.

"Victoria's compassion and understanding nature contributed to the success of women at the Baldwin Women's Residence," said Jennifer Yeagley, CEO of the St. Petersburg Free Clinic. "This same care will be critical for the men in our programs who need guidance and support to return to self-sufficiency."

Most recently, Weaver was a case manager at the St. Petersburg Free Clinic's Virginia and David Baldwin Women's Residence, a certified Recovery Residence that helps 50 women at a time become self-sufficient. In that role, she empowering the women in the program to maintain abstinence from substances, understanding money management, and learning to live in a new, positive way.

Previously, she worked in case management and program management roles with St. Vincent de Paul South Pinellas, Catholic Charities and Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA).

Weaver earned an associate's degree from St. Petersburg College and a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of South Florida.
