DECATUR, Ga. - Feb. 26, 2020 - PRLog -- Estate & Asset Protection Attorney, Victoria Collier reposts the warning sent to seniors who have made their email addresses available to the Social Security Administration in the event readers did not receive it or see it.

DECATUR, GA, February 26, 2020: Victoria L. Collier, founder of The Estate & Asset Protection Law Firm, has posted a new blog on her law firm's website entitled "Official Social Security Scam Alert." Ms. Collier encourages readers to be wary of suspicious phone calls, texts and emails.

Collier writes, "Be on the lookout for an email from the Social Security Administration (SSA)." She continues adding, "Seniors across the country who have provided the Social Security Administration with their email address have been receiving a scam alert email. This is an authentic warning from the SSA." According to Collier, "When the SSA finds it necessary to send out an alert you know things have gotten pretty bad. This means that record numbers of seniors are being scammed."

"If you are a senior," says Collier, "please be on the alert for suspicious phone calls, texts and emails. Scammers are always trolling for seniors who may have issues with mental alertness and memory, and they use fear tactics designed to confuse."
