Trusting Connections Supports Phoenix Area Girl Scouts by Purchasing 148 Boxes of Cookies
Inspiring confidence, philanthropy and service through cookie sales and donations
Co-founders Rosalind Prather and Caroline Wesnitzer have a shared mission to celebrate women who are changing their communities for the better and leading the way for future generations through cookie sales. Prather and Wesnitzer made a pledge to purchase cookies from every Girl Scout that brought a sales pitch to the Feb. 13 program held in Chandler, AZ. This beloved event has its origins in Tucson and this marked the first time the organization brought the event to the Phoenix area.
In an effort to encourage the Girl Scouts of today to articulate their value and harness their business and presentation skills Prather and Wesnitzer met with and heard pitches from 39 Girl Scouts. They purchased 148 boxes of cookies which will be donated to Arizonans For Children's Visitation Centers (https://arizonansforchildren.org/
"We are so proud of every girl that knows she can make a difference by confidently chasing her dreams," said Trusting Connections Co-Founder, Rosalind Prather. "We love hearing about troops that intend to go to STEM camp, Disneyland or horseback riding camp when they hit their goals. No matter what the goal, it is a celebration of the powerful potential of girls and young women. And that is something we will always firmly support."
