The Indie Artist Tour That's Sweeping The Nation

WASHINGTON - Feb. 24, 2020 - PRLog -- Mainstream artists receive more than ample radio play, streams, views, likes, and shares. So, where does that leave the independent artist that's trying to break into the industry? How does this droplet in the vast sea of creativity make waves?

Those two questions plagued the organizer and manager of the "Indie Artist Tour" long enough until she came up with an incredibly viable solution. While hosting her wildly popular open mic and listening to the electrifying talent on her radio station (every Tuesday at 8 PM EST) she thought, "Wouldn't it be great if I could showcase the talented artists that aren't heard?" As she mulled it over and bounced ideas off a few trusted sources, she devised a plan. That was the birth of the Indie Artist Tour. She decided to slow roll the country, alongside her musically gifted DJ, DJ Temptations to scout talent.

It launched, October 5, 2019, in Birmingham, AL. They ventured off into varying states including but not limited to, Georgia and MS where they held their first showcase in Jackson, MS, October 31, 2019. They featured indie artists, LEE SC, KoolKid Ridge, Drevo Coolidge, Roosta Cool, Martian, and Negus Noir. They were absolutely blown away at the amount of talent that was neatly tucked away in Jackson, MS.

The success of that collaborative showcase (collaboration w/Diedra Dechone Productions) added fuel to their fire as they continued on their journey to LA and TX. While slow - rolling it became clear that they'd have to team up with far more artists to help them gain exposure.

Beginning, March 27, 2020, the second leg of the tour takes place at 7Drum City, The Pocket in Washington, DC featuring indie artists, SunStoney (also Production Assistant), SHDW, Tal Simon, and JCOB Music. March 28, 2020, an artist workshop, "Artist 99" will be held, followed by an additional showcase (venue TBD).

April 11, 2020, you can catch the Indie Artist Tour in Philadelphia, PA at Hip Hemp Cafe featuring, JCOB Music, Biviens and Sunstoney. Things will turn up in Philly at our showcase at Voltage Lounge, 4/16/2020.

Brooklyn, NY will host the indie artist tour that's sweeping the nation beginning April 18, 2020, at Gold Sounds. The next stop featuring, Ciph Boogie, AWOL Da Mindwriter, Sunstoney, Puck, Tal Simon, and JCOB Music, kicks off 4/20/2020 and situated at Muchmore's Cafe in Brooklyn, NY.
