Local Civil Engineer Brings Passion for Helping People to Her New Home Helpers Home Care Business

COCOA BEACH, Fla. - Feb. 21, 2020 - PRLog -- After relocating from the Philippines and building a successful engineering career, local entrepreneur Lyn Hupfer is pleased to announce the launch of her new Home Helpers Home Care business in Brevard County.

Hupfer was born in the Philippines and earned her BS in Civil Engineering from Holy Angel University. She moved to the United States and married her husband, Kraig Hupfer, a veteran, and they relocated to Florida in 1989. In 1995, she was hired by the City of Cocoa Engineering Division and, in 2000, she took a Civil/Environmental Engineering position at Kennedy Space Center/Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. She moved into a Project Manager position in 2004 and, for the last 10 years, Hupfer has been an Environmental/Safety and Mission Assurance Engineer. From 2014 to present, she volunteers as a tax preparer and reviewer for seniors, low-income, and military families through United Way and, in 2016, Hupfer started working on her business degree specializing in health care management. Hupfer is also completing her certification as a nursing assistant which is the backbone of the health care team.
