Charity Golf Classic Scheduled April 29 at Verandah

FORT MYERS, Fla. - Feb. 19, 2020 - PRLog -- Registration is now open to reserve a spot in the 10^th Annual Goodwill Golf Classic. The annual four-person scramble, scheduled April 30 at Verandah Golf Club, is presented by Sullivan Benefits. Proceeds benefit programs and services offered through Goodwill that help people with disabilities and disadvantages remove barriers to their independence.

"We invite players to enjoy a top-notch area golf course while also supporting our mission of helping more than 24,000 individuals annually in Southwest Florida improve their lives," said John Nadeau, Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida CEO/President.

Players will tee off at 8:30 a.m. on the Whispering Oaks course at Verandah, followed by lunch and prizes in the club restaurant. The top prize will be a $7,500 Golf Vacation to play at Pebble Beach, including airfare, hotel and golf accommodations — to win, a player must score a Hole-in-One on the designated hole during the tournament.

Dozens of other prizes will be available through course contests and raffles. Cost is $125 per player or $500 per foursome. A limited number of sponsorships are available, such as lunch ($1,500) or hole sponsors ($250).
