HAMMOND, La. - Feb. 19, 2020 - PRLog -- Dianna Harris is running a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to raise funds for the project The Corner Collective Fundraiser. The Corner Collective is a business incubator designed to take business from concept to launch by providing in house tools, production space, and consulting services. It is the only coworking space with tools inside.

"There are many of us with big ideas with no real room for them to grow. Then, if and when we get an idea off the ground, we lack the support to keep it going. We lack the proper licenses, the proper accountants, the proper marketing strategy to keep growing. We are here to help cultivate successful and legitimate business. We want to reinvigorate and personally empower the sole proprietor, not as a means to reproduce the ills of capitalism but to give us the tools to fix those problems ourselves and to create the fun experiences inner city communities are deprived of. We seek to cultivate collaboration as opposed the individualism common to the American attitude in an effort to promote effective teams and a resource network. While there have been many efforts to create digital Black business catalogs we hope to give a space to those entrepreneurs to actually network." Says Dianna.

When 350 million was invested in Pullman Park It created 1600 jobs and drove down the crime rate by 22% over 5 years. This is what The Corner seeks to do in cities across the country.
