Follow on Google News | One Mans Battle to find his Missing Transferwise AccountsDavid Rowe battles the Met Police and Transferwise for knowledge of his missing Bank accounts and Funds
By: Touchstone International They emailed David in May 2019 asking for forwarding bank account information so they could return his funds, that never happened. They then sent a letter by post dated 18th July 2019, again asking for account information so funds could be returned. Again that never happened. Calls and emails resulted in being told to go away, we cant help you and we are no longer dealing with your accounts. 185 emails and calls made by David most unanswered. David started upon a social media campaign which resulted in many people coming forward with the same issue. Our of pure spite Transferwise contacted Mozo bank one of their partners and applied pressure to have his account with them frozen which they did. A whistle blower has confirmed this. In Dec 2019 Monzo returned Davids funds stating their investigation was complete and noting untoward was discovered. However David received a letter from Westminster Magistrates Court informing him his Transferwise funds were to be held for a 12 month period. The co director of http://touchstoneinternational.co.uk was also not contacted and Transferwise froze his personal account and then returned funds! The investigating Police officer Dayanne Gyimah of the MET, made no effort to inform David of the pending court action and did not allow evidence to be submitted on his defence. To this date David has not been charged with a crime. However 2 Bank accounts and 70K has gone missing. The court have ordered only 1 account containing 31K to be frozen The Court, The Met and Transferwise remain silent and do not reply to calls or emails.
