**The forest at home - MAKE 100**

CAGLI, Italy - Feb. 17, 2020 - PRLog -- Camillo Baldeschi is running a campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds for the project The forest at home - MAKE 100. It is a project that aims to build small sculptures for the home. The sculptures are painted with a water-based enamel (patented and certified for its effectiveness) that purifies the air. Having one of these items at home is equivalent to having a tall tree with a variable diameter.

Camillo says, "The designers' task is to improve the quality of life, while looking for new ecological materials for my projects, I learned about the water-based enamel that purifies the air. I called the company that produces it and they sent me all the documentation that certifies their effectiveness, international patents and other material. I immediately set to work to find a low-cost application and allow many people to benefit from it." He then added, "By coincidence, in the days when I was thinking of a simple and easy to use project in production, I saw on TV some videos of big polluted cities and people walking with masks for the unbreathable air. At this point the inspiration was taken to make small sculptures to rest on the furniture in the home. I chose the shape of the leaf, because it was immediately understood that it is a project that concerns the environment."

The sculptures are made of MDF (material made from woodworking waste). They are painted with "UMANA", the water based enamel that purifies the air. The "Maple Leaf" purifies the air like the leaves of a tree included in a circle with a diameter of 34 cm. The "UMANA" water-based enamel contains titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles that transform pollutants into harmless mineral salts.
