Marketing Strategies for Security Token Offerings

 
TALLINN, Estonia - Feb. 17, 2020 - PRLog -- As with any marketing strategy, an STO marketing strategy will start with thinking about who your target audience is. While accredited investors already narrows down your target market, you will need to think about your ideal investors and what channels you'll be able to reach them through. Just reaching them isn't enough though. Since the crypto space has attracted quite a bit of negative publicity, you'll also need to focus on building trust. Security Tokens may very well be more regulated than ICOs, nonetheless they're still what most would consider "risky investment". To entice investors into taking the plunge and investing in your offering, you'll need to demonstrate why they can trust you with their capital. Your STO marketing strategy must focus on both reaching your target market, educate them about what you can offer, and build trust in the project's ability to generate returns for investors.

Networking

Attracting investors often comes down to networking via in-person meetings and utilizing existing relationships. One of the best places to meet accredited investors and start building relationships with them often happens at industry related events.

Most importantly, NEVER jump straight into a hard sell if you meet someone who fits your investor profile. It's a sure fire way to scare the crap out of them and send them running. Always place yourselves in the investor's shoes.

Media plays an important role in almost any company's marketing efforts. It wouldn't exaggeration to say that it's one of, if not the MOST effective method for increasing awareness, building trust, and creating much desired interest among your targeted investors. The only problem is that choosing specific media outlets to work with can vary greatly depending on the type of business and the target audience. When it comes to an STO marketing strategy, you will need to consider carefully which types of publications your ideal investors read on a regular basis. Press Releases, can be useful for building a search engine presence, and ensuring that there's at least some information out there about you but blasting out press-releases to irrelevant news outlets provide very limited benefit. What's important is selecting the right publications based on your specific investor-type audience and I assure you, it'll have much dramatic effect.
